Before your body was a speck of dust
The vastness
That is and beyond the all
Has a whim to take a plunge
Incarnating to know itself
As and through you now.
To our nervous system
And the microscope of sense perception
The all of creation
Appears to vastly surround
A tiny individual called me.
Yet, in this moment
Every living particle
Representing the totality
Of every star, every planet
Every galaxy in the cosmos
Has no choice but to appear
Within the vastness that you are.
From beyond existence
Like primordial blackness
Conscious awareness moves slightly
And the universe expands
Whilst a countless infinitude
Of endlessly diverse forms
Individuate as perfect reflections
Of the heart’s subtlety.
Nothing can ever appear
That is not already what you are
There all dualities come to rest
Come to peace
Come to silence
Recognizing the majesty of their creator.
Anything you could ever seek
Already exists within you.
Any one you could ever love
Is already enthroned
In the vastness
Of one heart
Purely shining.
