\nA shooting star
\nDescends like a comet
\nThrough the spine
\nInto a core
\nOf gracefully unfolding fern leaves
\nIn my navel.<\/p>\n
Under The Starry Night
\nA golden man
\nIn tiniest seed-position
\nExpands from the core of the navel
\nThrough and beyond
\nThe diameter of my outstretched arms
\nTo the ends of the cosmos
\nTo the infinity of creation
\nAnd back again
\nIn a radiance
\nThat comes all the way
\nThrough the eyes
\nAnd through the hands.<\/p>\n
My life ends
\nand begins anew
\nIn the faith
\nAnd the faithfulness
\nOf a crystal clear
\nhouse of Transparency.<\/p>\n
In constant rebirth,
\nLife eternally
\nEnding and beginning
\nIn the same moment
\nLike the diastolic and systolic dance
\nIn a heartbeat.<\/p>\n
Forever Experiencing life
\nFor the first time
\nIn the assurance of deathlessness
\nTransfigured
\nIn an honesty
\nThat gives a child pause
\nGuiding without exception
\nEvery thought
\nthat parts these lips
\nAs a word.<\/p>\n
Resting in a grounding
\nSo deep and wide
\nThat even a 1000lb
\nLaughing Buddha
\nMight envy
\nAnd delighting
\nIn a sensitivity
\nLike the soft landing
\nOf a butterfly.<\/p>\n
In the bright daylight sky
\nMy ice castle of transparency
\nCollapses into a melting puddle
\nOf insecurity.<\/p>\n
Dissolving into a
\nnakedness of innocence
\nRendering all ideas defenseless
\nIn an absoluteness so complete
\nThat even old Jonah
\nMight tremble at the knees
\nAnd prefer
\nThe whale
\nAs his traveling companion.<\/p>\n
Under the lavender sunset
\nI am the glimmering, itchy back
\nOn a blade of grass
\nCalling to the pecking and scratching
\nof nearby birds
\nFor some relief.<\/p>\n
Along the sea
\nI am the waves
\nstriving to stretch their legs
\nAgainst the cramped rocky cliffs,
\nThe wind rising
\nWith foamy sea mist to shore,
\nAnd the Sun rays
\nReveling in the reflective warmth
\nof each stone
\nIt has made.<\/p>\n
Under the last ray of sunshine
\nBelow tangerine horizon
\nI join with the gravity of homeward Sun
\nUntil I become
\nThe solar system itself,
\nWondering
\nWhat songs
\nAnd cosmic breezes
\nFlow out from
\nThe Milky Way
\ntoday.<\/p>\n
Behind any storm
\nOr even the curve of the earth
\nThe Sun cannot hide from this heart,
\nAnd so trust only my body
\nIn the awareness that it’s cellular memory
\nIn even the darkest nook and cranny
\nExceeds my own,
\nSurrendering to the awareness
\nThat our meeting
\nIs none other than
\nOne vast being knowing itself
\nLike the sometimes
\nUngraceful bumping
\nof two blood cells in my veins
\nIn their race to deliver oxygen
\nThrough the heart,
\nPumping wildly
\nAs I Shovel sparkling diamonds
\nof snow From the path
\nTransmuting the coal of my humanity
\nIn the sweet intensity
\nUnder oceanic atmospheres
\nOf every winded breath
